Work on this project includes: This project entails the complete procurement and installation of a Kohler model KG150 natural gas generator at the exterior of the filtration plant's shop dock. The contractor will be responsible for all tasks associated with the proper installation and operation of the generator system, including: Supply of Kohler model KG150 natural gas generator, provision of all necessary parts and installation materials, placement and mounting of the generator at the designated exterior location, running of a natural gas line from the existing supply to the generator, all necessary electrical wiring to ensure generator operation and integration with facility systems, testing and commissioning of the generator to ensure full operational readiness. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for the development and delivery of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) specific to the installed system and a brief training or orientation session for facility personnel on generator use and safety. The contractor will provide all necessary labor, tools, equipment, and materials to complete the work. Work must be in compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards. Site cleanup and restoration upon completion. BID BOND: 5% of Contract Amount PERFORMANCE/MATERIAL & LABOR PAYMENT BOND: 100% of Contract Amount CONTRACT PERIOD: Contract award through December 30, 2026. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS Bidders may withdraw or cancel their bids at any time prior to the advertised bid opening time. After the bid opening time, no bid shall be withdrawn or canceled for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. When contract approval is required by another agency, such as the Federal Government or the State of Illinois, no bid shall be withdrawn or canceled for a period of ninety (90) calendar days.
