Identification: Memorial Park Community Center 510 Bert Street, Johnson City, TN 37601 Scope of Work: Location: Memorial Park Community Center Work Area: Approximately 4,315 square feet total: Gathering Area 2,000sq ft, Cards Room: 860sq ft, and Activity Room 1,455sq ft. Work Timeline: Work must be completed between December 22 - January 2. Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment and perform all work necessary to perform the above referenced project as specified herein. The work shall be complete and ready for use. Perform all work required to remove existing flooring and polish and dye the existing concrete to match the Arts and Crafts Room. Remove existing shoe and base molding and reinstall after concrete work is complete. Properly dispose of any and all demolition materials. Contractor to provide a dumpster for demo materials. It is strongly recommended that a site visit be conducted to evaluate the existing conditions before submitting a bid for this project. The work of this contract shall not impede egress in any existing areas, nor shall reduce the life safety of any buildings or building components into which it is being installed. Concrete dust and debris shall be contained within the rooms being worked on. The Contractor shall submit his proposed scheme of work for approval, describing proposed sequences of work from beginning to completion of the work and their correlation with the Owner's specific requirements. Prior to proceeding with any work the contractor shall verify in the field all dimensions or conditions necessary to avoid errors. No additional compensation shall be borne by the Owner due to the failure of the Contractor or his subcontractors to properly coordinate the work with existing conditions. QA date - 9-9 -2025 Questions must be received by the City at least two (2) working days prior to the submittal deadline. No oral interpretations or instructions given by any city employee or any other person shall apply. Changes relative to any solicitation will be in writing, in the form of an addendum. ,
