Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Cookeville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
Putnam County is interested in taking bids for a new cattle barn at the new fairgrounds. The construction site is located at 6000 Tennessee, Cookeville, TN, 38574. Putnam County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Any questions concerning this RFP should be emailed to Angela Vaughn at angela.vaughn@putnamcountytn.gov or contact her at 931-526-2161. Building to be erected at 6000 Tennessee Ave :- Building shall be 120x200x16 in size 2:12 pitch, clear span structure. o The building will be a engineered Metal Building System with red primer on all framing members. o All sides ofthe barn will be open with no x-bracing allowed in any ofthe walls. o RoofPanels will be PBR 26ga standard color roofpanels with the county choosing the color. o Building must have a full gutter system with piping to the storm drain system. o Building will be a "Cat II" building, meeting all standard building codes. o The floor will be a dirt floor and will be furnished by the county o Contractor will be responsible for all aspects ofthe barn which includes the steel, metal, piers and concrete. o The Contractor will not be responsible for any electrical. o Contractor will be required to submit an engineer stamped drawing. Please bid as a separate alternate add-on a 14x5Oft lean-to that will tie-in to the building as a roofsystem only. No x-bracing in walls and no soffit panel.
