The work is in one unit price Contract and includes the installation of 805 L.F. of 12-inch Ductile Iron Pipe Watermain, 500 L.F. of 8-inch Ductile Iron Pipe Watermain, and 652 L.F. of 8-inch Ductile Iron Pipe Gravity Sewer main, and all other work as shown on the project drawings and within the bid documents. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon. Bidders are further directed to TCA 62-6-119 as provisions of this chapter must be complied with or the bid will not be considered. All bidders must comply with all provisions of TCA 50-9-113 as it relates to Drug-Free Workplace requirements. The contractor shall complete the Drug-Free Workplace Affidavit of the Prime Bidder form and submit it with the Bid. All bidders must also comply with Chapter 878 of TCA 12-4-1 as it relates to certification of compliance regarding illegal immigrants. The contractor shall complete the Statement of Compliance Illegal Immigrants form and submit it with the Bid. All bidders shall comply with all provisions of Chapter 817 of TCA 12-12-106 as it relates to certification of compliance regarding the Iran Divestment Act. The Contractor shall complete the Statement of Compliance Certificate for Iran Divestment Act and submit it with the bid. All bidders shall comply with all provisions of TCA 12-4-119 as it relates to Non-Boycott of Israel. The Contractor shall complete the Non-Boycott of Israel Certification as it applies to this project and submit it with the bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish both performance and payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Question Deadline 09/17/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Submittal of all questions shall be through the online.
