Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Baxter, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

The work is in one unit price Contract and includes the design and construction of a 30' wide x 50' long salt storage shed and all other work as required by the Request for Proposal. All respondents must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon. All respondents shall comply with all provisions of TCA 12-4-119 as it relates to Non-Boycott of Israel. The Contractor shall complete the Non-Boycott of Israel Certification as it applies to this project and submit it with the bid. All respondents shall comply with all provisions of Chapter 817 of TCA 12- 12-106 as it relates to certification of compliance regarding the Iran Divestment Act. The Contractor shall complete the Statement of Compliance Certificate for Iran Divestment Act and submit it with the bid. The City of Baxter reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all proposals. Project Requirements: o The entirety of the structure (roof, walls, foundation, slabs) must be designed by a registered professional engineer licensed in the State of Tennessee. The roof structure and walls/concrete pad may be designed by diUerent engineers if necessary. Sealed drawings are required to be approved prior to ordering materials. o City shall review and approve the design drawings, all shop drawings for the project to include roof structure, concrete walls, concrete floors, anchor assemblies, any coatings or concrete admixtures and concrete mix design. o Roof Structure shall be by Steel Master Building, LLC Quonset type roof structure, or approved equal and shall carry a minimum of a 50-year non-prorated warranty. o All aspects of the design shall meet or exceed International Building Code (IBC 2018). o Contractor shall obtain a local building permit for the construction of the project at no cost to the Contractor. o The overall width shall be 30' wide x 50' long. The interior dimensions shall be clearly indicated on the proposal. The front opening shall be along the 30' dimension facing southwest unless approved otherwise. o Walls shall be reinforced concrete, or approved equal, at a minimum height of 10 feet above grade. Extend walls as necessary to the footing. Contractor may also, in addition to the base proposal for concrete walls, provide a deductive alternative proposal for wall materials other than cast in place reinforced concrete walls. Provide clear pricing deduction information if alternate pricing is provided. o Reinforced concrete floor of suUicient thickness to accommodate for salt storage and loading/unloading of salt. Include a 10'-0" apron in front of the door opening the full width of the building of the same thickness and design as the floor slab of the building. Concrete floor shall structurally accommodate for salt delivery by dump truck as a minimum. o Concrete walls and floor must have protective coating to prevent salt corrosion. o Contractor shall provide all necessary grading to complete the project. Undercut excavation that may be required to remediate unsuitable bearing soils for the foundation shall be an additional work item, subject to a change order or performance by the Owner.
