A Job Order Contract is an indefinite quantity contract pursuant to which the Contractor may perform an ongoing series of individual Projects at different locations within the city or at any location or facility under the jurisdiction of the City. The bid documents include a Construction Task Catalog containing construction tasks with preset Unit Prices. All Unit Prices are based on local labor, material and equipment prices and are for the direct cost of construction. The Contractor will bid two sets of Adjustment Factors to be applied to the Unit Prices for a total of 4 Adjustment Factors. The first set will include an Adjustment Factor for performing work during Normal Working Hours and a second Adjustment Factor for performing work during Other Than Normal Working Hours. The second set will include an Adjustment Factor for performing work during Normal Working Hours at Secure Locations and a second Adjustment Factor for performing work during Other Than Normal Working Hours at Secure Locations. The City may award up to four (4) individual contracts for General Engineering, up to four (4) individual contracts for General Building Construction, up to two (2) individual contracts for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) Construction, up to two (2) individual contracts for Electrical Construction, and up to two (2) individual contracts for Low Voltage Systems, each to the lowest responsive, responsible bids, but reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and waive any irregularities in any bid received. Liquidated Damages $500 per day Project Duration Base term of contract is 3 years with (2)1-year option terms Bid Bond $25,000.00 Payment Bond 100.00% Performance Bond 100.00%
