IFD Station 2 Masonry Repairs IF THERE ARE ANY QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, PLEASE CONTACT DEREK HUFF 317-459-8433 This Work will be funded by the City of Indianapolis. The participation goal for Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) for this contract is fifteen percent (15%). The participation goal for Women Business Enterprise (WBE) for this contract is eight percent (8%). The participation goal for Veteran's Business Enterprise (VBE) for this contract is three percent (3%). The participation goal for DisabilityOwned Business Enterprise (DOBE) for this contract is one percent (1%). This is a functioning firehouse, operational throughout project. Coordination and concessions must be made to maintain travel lanes for emergency traffic. IFD personnel and the contractor will communicate to accomplish this. -Clean work area throughout project and leave property/landscaping in condition found. Ensure interior of firehouse is protected from dust and debris during repairs. - East Elevation - Demo and replace all brick (including wing wall returns), anchors and flashing system similar to existing. Approximately 280sf. - West Elevation - Demo and replace all brick (including wing wall returns), anchors and flashing system similar to existing. Approximately 550sf. - Northwest Corner of Truck Bay - Demo and replace brick (from inside corner of wing wall return and back approximately 6' from corner), anchors and flashing system similar to existing. Approximately 150sf. - Northeast Corner of Truck Bay - Demo and replace brick (from inside corner of wing wall return and back to north jamb of OHD), anchors and flashing system similar to existing. Approximately 155sf.- East Elevation of Truck Bay above OHD- Demo and replace brick, anchors and flashing system similar to existing. Approximately 35sf. - Misc. repairs - Cut out and replace up to fifty spalled/damaged brick around remaining portion of building. - Final cleaning of new brick veneer - Caulking of new control joints and around window and door openings - Steel lintels at window and doors openings (excludes OHD's) - Haul away all debris and dispose of.
