Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Indianapolis, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Work consists of, but is not necessarily limited to the following: IFD Station 41 & 44 Parking Lot Repairs - Parking Lot Repairs RFQ-15IFD-553 Pre-Quote Conference: 9/8/2025 at 10:00 A.M. local time at IFD Headquarters located at 955 Ft. Wayne Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46202 This Work will be funded by the City of Indianapolis. The participation goal for Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) for this contract is fifteen percent (15%). The participation goal for Women Business Enterprise (WBE) for this contract is eight percent (8%). The participation goal for Veteran's Business Enterprise (VBE) for this contract is three percent (3%). The participation goal for DisabilityOwned Business Enterprise (DOBE) for this contract is one percent (1%). Minimum Minority and Female Workforce Utilization Goals :- Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9% Goals for minority participation in each trade: 12.5% This is a functioning firehouse, operational throughout project. Coordination and concessions must be made to maintain travel lanes for emergency traffic. IFD personnel and the contractor will communicate to accomplish this. Clean work area throughout project and leave property/landscaping in condition found. Remove/Replace interior concrete slab in far west bay ~27' x 16' 1) Saw cut and excavate existing concrete and sub-base to a depth of 12". 2) Remove debris to approved facility. 3) Mechanically compact existing sub-base. 4) Furnish and install 4" of #53 crushed stone. 5) Drill and pin existing concrete 18" on center and install 1/2" dowels where applicable. 6) Install 8" of 4,000 psi concrete. 7) Apply smooth trowel finish, clear concrete sealer and sawcut joints as needed. 8) Apply yellow pavement striping. Remove/Replace exterior concrete slab in front of far west bay ~15' x 16' 1) Saw cut and excavate existing concrete and sub-base to an average depth of 12". 2) Remove debris to approved facility. 3) Mechanically compact existing sub-base. 4) Furnish and install 4" of #53 crushed stone. 5) Drill and pin existing concrete 18" on center and install 1/2" dowels where applicable. 6) Install 8" of 4,000 psi concrete. 7) Apply broom finish, clear concrete sealer and sawcut joints as needed. 8) Apply yellow pavement striping Remove existing asphalt in front of previous slab with concrete ~ 16' x 16' 1) Saw cut and excavate existing asphalt and sub-base to an average depth of 12". 2) Remove debris to approved facility. 3) Mechanically compact existing sub-base. 4) Furnish and install 4" of #53 crushed stone. 5) Drill and pin existing concrete 18" on center and install 1/2" dowels where applicable. 6) Install 8" of 4,000 psi concrete. 7) Apply broom finish, clear concrete sealer and sawcut joints as needed. 8) Apply yellow pavement striping. Seal/Stripe the remainder of parking lot (~11000 sf) 1) Clean all debris from cracks. 2) Seal cleaned cracks with hot rubberized crack sealant. 3) Apply two coats of sealer 4) Apply oil spot primer to all oil spots as needed. 5) Apply pavement striping. Station 44 Parking lot Scope This is a functioning firehouse, operational throughout project. Coordination and concessions must be made to maintain travel lanes for emergency traffic. IFD personnel and the contractor will communicate to accomplish this. Clean work area throughout project and leave property/landscaping in condition found. Seal/Stripe the parking lot (~22000 sf) 1) Clean all debris from cracks. 2) Seal cleaned cracks with hot rubberized crack sealant. 3) Apply two coats of sealer 4) Apply oil spot primer to all oil spots as needed. 5) Apply pavement striping. Final completion- 150 calendar days
