Grand Central Parkway Las Vegas, NV 89155 USA jeana.tarango@clarkcountynv.gov Scope: Clark County, Nevada (COUNTY) shall qualify RESPONDENT(S) and/or specialty RESPONDENT(S) (Applicants), for its Nuisance Property and Building Abatement Services projects pertaining to cleanup and securing of properties, asbestos removal and disposal, and demolition. COUNTY reserves the right to use or revert to an alternate quotation or bidding process at any time during the term of this effort for any project if it is in the best interest of the public as determined by COUNTY or its authorized representative. COUNTY’S approved Qualified List shall remain in effect for the Qualification Term and any exercised renewal terms. QUALIFIED RESPONDENT(S) will not have to qualify for each project they wish to quote, but will be required to be responsible and responsive to individual project quoting requirements, such as but not limited to, license limit, providing proof of insurance and any special requirements. 2. Overview: A. During the Qualification Review Period, COUNTY shall review, and qualify or disqualify all submitted responses. The Purchasing Manager or her designee and the Qualification panel, will approve a Qualified List specifying qualified, denied and disqualified RESPONDENTS, and this list shall remain in effect for the Qualification Term and any exercised renewal terms. B. If during the Qualification Term, information is received by COUNTY which reveals that a QUALIFIED RESPONDENT’S status should be reconsidered, COUNTY will conduct a review. Such information could include but is not limited to (i) formal submittal of a bond claim action, (ii) contract breach, (iii) disbarments/suspensions, (iv) violations of NRS or Nevada Administrative Code (NAC), (v) lapse in insurance or licensing and/or (vi) settlements. During the review period QUALIFIED RESPONDENT will not receive requests for quotation until review is completed and QUALIFIED RESPONDENT is deemed responsible. If COUNTY recommends disqualification, the QUALIFIED RESPONDENT may appeal the decision to the Purchasing Manager.
