No bids received UNLV is seeking an experienced contractor for the UNLV Student Union Ballroom LED Lighting Conversion Project. Scope of Work: The scope of work includes replacement of all existing lighting in pre-function in Ballrooms A, B, and C. Replace all existing lighting controls within space and within the existing electrical room (theatrical dimming panels). Refeed power to new light fixtures in spaces aforementioned. Alternate 1 will include providing a new theatrical control lighting system to control ballroom and pre-function lights from AV room located on the third floor. 1. Furnish and install complete LED lighting system per the drawings UNLV Ballroom Lighting Upgrade Bid & Permit Set dated 8/18/2025 (Exhibit B Drawings and Requirements 2025-08-18 UNLV Ballroom LED Bid Permit Set Drawings). 2. Contractor is responsible to supply all equipment and sub-contractors necessary to complete the replacement and commissioning of the lighting system. 3. Contractor will submit specification cut-sheets on all devices and equipment being replaced/installed. 4. Contractor to supply color samples of pendant lights for approval. 5. Contractor is required to follow the current UNLV Campus Wiring Design Guidelines (https://www.it.unlv.edu/network/campus-wiring-design-guide). 6. Planned panel shutdowns require a 72-hour notification to UNLV. 7. Contractor and subcontractors must purchase appropriate UNLV parking permits for the duration of any work performed. 8. Any cutting, welding or grinding requires the Contractor to obtain a UNLV HOT Work Permit and follow the HOT Work operational guidelines. (https://www.unlv.edu/rms/occupational/hot-work) 9. All debris, trash and items related to the removal, replacement shall be properly removed from the property and disposed of properly. 10. The Project shall comply with the requirements of OSHA, all applicable federal, state and county statues, regulations, and codes. 11. Project to be completed over UNLV Winter Break dates December 15, 2025 to January 19, 2026. The Successful Bidder shall submit its Schedule of Values in Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) format to UNLV on the day the bid is due (Exhibit D).
