The Project title is Boathouse Overhead Door Replacement at Station Humboldt Bay - The intent of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to have the contractor remove and replace the existing roll-up (overhead coiling) garage door at the boathouse. Work includes removal, disposal, installation, adjustments, calibration, testing, and final cleanup in accordance with manufacturer specifications, applicable codes, and OSHA safety standards. This is a total (100%) small business set aside. The NAICS for this action is 238290 Other Building Equipment Contractors. The size standard is $22 million. the estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Offerors must be registered at SAM.gov at the time of offer submittal. TASKS 1. Pre-Work Site Preparation & Safety - Inspect door opening and boathouse structure, verify dimensions, protect adjacent structures, and implement OSHA-compliant safety measures. 2. Removal of Existing Door - Disconnect power if motorized, remove door curtain, guides, counterbalance system, operator, and hardware; dispose of materials per local regulations. 3. Opening & Support Preparation - Inspect and repair framing, headers, and mounting plates; ensure proper clearances; reinforce hardware as required. 4. New Door Installation - Install door curtain, barrel, guides, brackets, counterbalance system, seals, and threshold; install motorized operator if applicable. 5. Calibration & Testing - Adjust spring tension, guide tracks, and motor limits; test manual/powered operation and safety features; verify alignment and sealing. 6. Final Cleanup & Turnover - Remove debris, demonstrate door operation, provide O&M manuals, warranty documentation, and maintenance instructions.
