Site work for a power facility in Owensboro, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a power facility.
Owensboro Municipal Utilities (OMU), a municipal power distributor, is requesting bids from qualified contractors for the construction of concrete foundations and trench system for an addition to its Substation M located at 661 Worthington Rd, Owensboro, KY 42301. The construction requires the installation of foundations, conduits, and a Trenwa Trench System. Ground grid installation is not required as part of the bid as ground grids are preexisting; however, appropriate attachments to the ground grid will be required. Contractor shall have personnel trained in installing exothermic welding systems for the attachment to the ground grid. Pier foundations will be required per the steel package foundation designs for all structural steel components. Spread footing foundations will be required for all other equipment. The project will include the installation of a Trenwa type trench system measuring approximately 170'. The trench system will be provided by the contractor and will be 18" deep by 32" wide. OMU reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities.
