The bid opening is public and all bids will be read aloud. Each bid must be accompanied by proof of bid security which guarantees the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the total amount bid, excluding tax. Contractors must be prequalified prior to bidding on this prequalified electrical work for Category D-1 Right-of-Way Clearing and Maintenance, Tree and Brush Work. This contract work consists of providing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to trim, cut, treat, remove, clear, and dispose of trees and brush, as well as perform application of herbicides under and along approximately 56.3 pole miles of the Districts Transmission and Distribution System. The location of the work to be performed commences at Edmonds way West from I-5 to just West of Paradise Ln. South on 76th Ave W from 215thSt SW to Edmonds Way. The line goes West on 220th St SW from 76th Ave W to 86th Pl W. North on 84th Ave W from Edmonds Way to 220th St SW. West on 228th St SW from HWY-99 to Edmonds Way. West on 224th St SW from just East of Aurora Ave N to Firdale Ave to 100th Ave W to 9th Ave S until Daley St. South on 106th Ave W from 226th St SW to Robin Hood Dr to 104th Ave W to NW 205th St. North on 114th Ave W from Eagle Ln to Woodway Park Rd until Pine St and includes all associated taps near Edmonds, in Snohomish County, Washington. Bidders Currently Prequalified by the District for the Following Work: Request for Proposal No. 25-1596-kp Pwc Westgate Circuits 12-404,12-405,12-406,12-407, Five Corners Circuits 12-1282,12-1284, Richmond Park Circuits 12-232,12-233,12-2048,12-5217, Transmission and Distribution Line Clearance.
