A description of the work to be performed includes but is not limited to: erosion control, grading, installation of landscaping and irrigation, landscape maintenance, electrical, concrete flatwork, and any and all other work necessary to complete the project in accordance with Contract Documents including the plans and specifications. Bids shall be made on the forms furnished by the Owner and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope and endorsed with the name of the Bidder. A Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total Bid amount will be required. The Bid Bond will be retained by Owner as liquidated damages should the Successful Bidder fail to enter into a Contract with the Owner in accordance with the Bid. Bidders must supply a list of Subcontractors providing Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) or more in labor and/or materials to the Project. Attention is called to the fact that Bidders offer to assume the obligations and liabilities imposed by the Contract Documents. The Successful Bidder for the Project will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the full amount of the Contract Price, in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents.
