The project consists of furnishing and installing the following items: concrete, equipment, earthwork, piping, electrical and control systems, and various related components. UES Project No. A25138.00010.000 Rev.1 The total Contract Time will be 450 consecutive calendar days and the liquidated damages will be $1,000 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. A Bid Bond or a Certified Cashier's Check in the amount of 5% of the total bid price is required. Minority and womens business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material and/or supply needs. Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids are expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the Water Pollution Control Revolving Loan Fund (WPCRLF) loan program from the State of Mississippi. Neither the State of Mississippi, the Commission on Environmental Quality nor any of their employees is or will be a party to this invitation for bids or any resulting or related contracts. This procurement will be subject to all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated. Award will be made to the lowest and best bidder and the Desoto County Regional Utility Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities, technicalities or omissions therein. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
