The Contract work consists of the following repairs to the Olympic Class ferry M/V Suquamish: USCG credit drydocking and internal structural examinations; sea valve inspections; hull, guard, vehicle deck, and bilge spot preservation and coatings; fuel tank cleaning and inspections: potable water tank modifications and preservation; rudder inspections and overhauls; steering actuator overhauls and foundation replacements; stern tube interface plate installation; controllable pitch propeller inspections and hub exchange; air space seal system install: and. other maintenance work as specified in the IFB Technical Specifications. The vessel is 362-3" x 83'-6" and. carries 144 vehicles and 1500 passengers, All of the work, must be performed within Puget Sound, Washington during the period of December 29, 2025, to Februarv 27, 2026. Bidders must be prequalified by WSF in Class 82 work, "Vessel Drydocking & Hull Repairs Certified state Public. Works Small Business Enterprise (PWSBE) and certified Veteran Owned Businesses (VOBs) and Minority and Women's Business Enterprises (MWBEs) are encouraged to participate in the IFB process.
