Site work for a water / sewer project in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

This Project is located at three separate locations in the City of Seattle: 1) E Pike St & 12th Ave; and 2) SW Dakota St & 26th Ave SW; and 3) NE 107th St & Lake City Way NE. Construction is expected to start Spring 2026 through 2027. This Project consists of the following elements of Work: Replacement of approximately 200 linear feet of sanitary sewer mainline pipe (ductile iron pipe (DIP) ranging from 8" to 12" in diameter) and 500 LF of storm drainage mainline pipe (ductile iron pipe (DIP) ranging from 6" to 12" in diameter). Additional elements of work include: traffic control, temporary sewer bypass, abandon existing sewer mainline pipes, assist SPU Water Crew with cut & cap of watermain pipe and temporary water service installation, electrical conduit & vault installation (E Pike St), post installation CCTV inspection, and surface restoration (pavement, stairs, landscaping, and ADA curb ramps). o SW Dakota St Site: o Pipe repair is located within ROW on a pedestrian bridge, but access will require use of surrounding Seattle Parks property. Vehicular access will be required to both sides of the bridge. All work on bridge will need to be hand-carried. o Pipe crosses Longfellow Creek and area is subject to various environmental construction schedule restrictions. Heavy construction will be limited to August and September. o Repair location is not impacted by the FIFA construction moratorium. o NW 107 th St Site: o Pipe repair is located on a street that provides direct access from Lake City Way to Nathan Hale High School's student parking lot. Construction will only be allowed during Seattle Public Schools summer break, approximately mid-June to late-August. o Repair location is not impacted by the FIFA construction moratorium. o E Pike St Site: o Pipe repair is located on a busy intersection on Capitol Hill and will involve extensive traffic control coordination with SDOT. o Repair includes an early work portion to provide underground infrastructure to allow SCL to permanently reroute wires from above intersection. (Early work starting April 1, 2026) o Repair location is subject to various summer event restrictions (mid-June to late July) and will be impacted by the FIFA construction moratorium.
