SCOPE OF WORK to be performed under this improvement shall generally consist of all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary for construction of new roadways for the project identified as Trenton Square Collector Roads, all in accordance with the drawings and specifications provide by the Engineer. Base bid work includes All work associated with the construction of new roadways, including water main, storm and sanitary sewers, utility cross overs and temporary sedimentation basins. THE ABOVE IMPROVEMENT shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents. The City of Trenton reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with the Contract Documents. The City of Trenton reserves the right to add to or to subtract from the contract quantities. The City of Trenton also reserves the right to hold all proposals for sixty (60) days. EACH BIDDER is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty (10% of the Bid Amount) and Contract Bond (100% of the Bid Amount) in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond for shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. BIDDERS must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Butler County and the City of Trenton as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239. 1.9 BIDS shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope identified as "Trenton Square Collector Roads" and MUST HAVE THE FULL NAME AND ADDRESS of the bidder on the envelope. This Project Includes Construction of Two New Roads North of S.r. 73, Between Governers Ave and Cranewood Dr. The Project Involves Building Approximately 3,000 Lineal Feet of Roadway Within The Proposed Trenton Square Development. Associated Improvements Include the Addition and/or Modification of Water Main, Sanitary Sewer, Storm Sewer, Pavement Markings, and Signage.
