This project provides for the design and construction of a new building to house Fire Station 32 staff and equipment at 2424 E. Villa St. The new fire station will provide a larger facility to house ten persons per shift, for a total of 30 fire personnel. The new building will be designed to meet the United States Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver Certification. The project is included in the City of Pasadena's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of May 1, 2026, this project is listed as a future unfunded project. Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to FY 2028. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
