Walden Pond Fresh Water Supply District of Kaufman County (Owner) is requesting sealed Bids for the construction of the following Project: WALDEN POND WEST PHASE 2 UTILITIES IMPROVEMENTS Bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or a bid bond from a surety company holding a permit in the State of Texas for an amount equal to 2% of the amount bid. If awarded the contract, Performance and Payment Bonds, Form 1295, and Verification of Compliance with Government Code Chapters 2252 and 2270 form will be required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in bidding in case of lack of clarity in stating prices or bid submittals. The Owner is not obligated to accept the lowest bid or any bid. The Owner reserves the right to consider the most advantageous bidder for construction thereof or reject the bid. The contract of award may include full consideration of base bid, period of performance, and financial standings of the Contractor with the Owner, District, and City WALDEN POND WEST PH. 2 WATER, SANITARY SEWER AND STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS (Furnish and Install, including all appurtenant work, complete in place, the following items):
