Marquette Storage Building - Demolition and New Sealed bid proposals from interested and qualified parties for the Marquette Storage Building Demolition and New, located at Marquette Elementary School This project involves the demolition and disposal of the existing temporary classroom/storage building, and three adjacent sheds currently located on the school grounds. A new pre-engineered metal/wood structure with metal siding/roof to be constructed on the site. Associated electrical and site work is included. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5% percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after opening of bids Successful bidders shall be required to observe the fair employment practices commission rules pertaining to equal employment opportunity and comply with the Illinois prevailing wage act, 820 il cs 130/1 et seq. and use wage determination as determined by the Illinois department of labor, conciliation, and mediation division. These wages will remain in effect until superseded by a new determination.
