The Town of Amherst is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the professional installation of three (3) pickleball courts on an existing paved surface at the Robb Complex, located at 53 Laplanche Street, Amherst, Nova Scotia. The work includes surface treatment, court line painting, and all necessary materials and labor to deliver a complete, playable facility. The court color scheme will be Amherst Blue and Green, matching the colors of the main buildings and signage at the Robb Complex. Surface Treatment & Coating: Application of an acrylic resurfacer with sand for texture and durability, application of two (2) coats of color concentrate with sand in specified Amherst Blue and Green colors. Court Layout & Line Painting: Accurate measurement and marking for three (3) regulation pickleball courts, application of primer and white line paint to meet pickleball standards. Basketball Markings: Installation of two (2) regulation basketball keys within the court area. The Town of Amherst will supply the portable basketball nets. Equipment Installation: Supply and installation of pickleball nets, posts, and sleeves in accordance with professional court standards. 3. Optional Add-On: Windscreen Installation Bidders are asked to include a separate, itemized cost for the supply and installation of professional-grade wind screens on the existing fencing around the courts. Specifications should include: Durable, UV-resistant material suitable for outdoor sports facilities. Color to complement Amherst Blue and Green court scheme.
