Renovation of a water / sewer project in Amherst, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Town of Amherst will be accepting proposals from qualified suppliers for the supply, installation, and commissioning of an Ultraviolet (UV) Disinfection System for the Town's Wastewater Treatment Facility that provides proven dependable performance, simplified maintenance, and electrical efficiency. The ideal system will incorporate innovative features to reduce operation and maintenance costs. Scope of Work: Supply, install, and commission a UV disinfection system Must meet design criteria: Peak Flow: 350 L/s Average Flow: 120 L/s UV Transmittance: = 40% TSS: = 20 mg/L Disinfection Limit: = 200 fecal coliform/100ml All questions must go to procurement@amherst.ca or will not be answered.
