Construct one 4-inch, one 8-inch (reduced to 4-inch) , and one 2-inch combination air valves currently in underground vaults to above ground locations at Station 701+24, Station 743+26, and Station 759+47 respectively of the Joint Regional Water Supply System (JRWSS) Joint Transmission Main (JTM) operated by the South Coast Water District (District). Question Deadline 09/16/2025 at 5:00 PM PT Questions and requests for substitution pertaining to this project must be submitted to the District electronically Start/Delivery Date Estimated Start Date: January 2026 Project Duration 40 Working Days Summary of Work, location, Work sequence, closeout, Contractor use of premises, and activities by others at Project site. B. Work includes furnishing products, labor, tools, transportation, and services to: 1. Protect existing facilities in place. 2. Maintain water service and pressure to water system throughout construction. 3. Core drill vaults as required to route new piping through vault walls and relocate combination air valves from below ground to above ground locations at three separate work sites. 4. Remove existing 4" air/vacuum valve and construct new 4" combination air/vacuum valve assembly (above ground) at Station 701+24 with all required pipe, fittings, and valves. 5. Remove existing 8" air/vacuum valve and construct new 4" combination air/vacuum valve assembly (above ground) at Station 743+26 with all required pipe, fittings, and valves. 6. Remove existing 2" air/vacuum valve and construct new 2" combination air/vacuum valve assembly (above ground) at Station 759+47 with all required pipe, fittings, and valves. 7. Disinfect piping to local and State Health Department standards at each work site. 8. Connect piping to water system at each work site. 9. Backfill trenches, restore irrigation systems and landscaping, replace asphalt concrete paving and concrete flatwork, perform finish paving and striping, and restore site(s) to preconstruction condition. C. Furnish and install complete operating engineered systems, including appurtenant structural, mechanical and/or electrical mountings fittings or connections required for 1. Compliance with Manufacturer's installation requirements, 2. Compliance with applicable building, fire, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and energy codes and standards, and 3. As needed to permit systems to perform functions required by Contract Documents and described in Manufacturer's printed literature. D. Contractor's submission of bid shall constitute acknowledgment that, if awarded contract, they have relied upon and are relying upon their own examination of: 1. Contract Documents 2. Work site 3. Access to Work site 4. Existing utilities. 5. Conditions under which Work is to be performed 6. Existing facilities on and near Work site. 7. Data and matters requisite to completion of Work
