Site work for a water / sewer project in Laguna Beach, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
In general, the work comprises of mobilization and adjustment of thirteen (13) existing Sewer Manholes in coordination with the Caltrans ADA South project (12-0P69U4) paving phases on South Coast Highway. The manhole adjustments shall be coordinated both prior and post construction of paving operations of the Caltrans project, all within the City of Laguna Beach. Start/Delivery Date September 2, 2025 Project Duration 30 (thirty) working days, excluding holidays. Liquidated Damages $1,000 per working day Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 07/23/2025 5:00 PM (PDT) All questions and requests for information and clarification received before the stated time and date will be addressed by the City through online by Tuesday, July 29, 2025. Bid Bond 10.00% Payment Bond 10.00% Performance Bond 100.00% AWARD OF CONTRACT: (a) The City reserves the right after opening bids to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality (non-responsiveness) in a bid, or to make award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder and reject all other bids, as it may best serve the interest of the City. (b) As a condition of award, the successful bidder will be required to submit payment and performance bonds and insurance.
