The scope of this RFB includes the supply of metal culverts in the following sizes and lengths: Round culverts: 12", 15", 18", 24", 30", 36", 42", 48", 54", 60", and 72" diameters, and lengths ranging from 10', 12', and 20'. Elliptical culverts: 15" x 24", 18" x 30", 24" x 36", 30" x 42", 36" x 48", 42" x 54", 48" x 60", and 54" x 66" sizes, and lengths ranging from 10', 12', and 20'. All culverts must be made of corrugated metal, meeting ASTM A760 or ASTM A942 specifications, and have a minimum design life of 75 years. Vendors must provide mill certifications and product data sheets for all materials used in the manufacturing process. Delivery of the culverts is required to each specific project site, and must be scheduled in coordination with the purchasing Agency. Vendors must provide a delivery schedule, including lead times, and be able to meet the delivery requirements of the project. All shipments must be FOB Destination. The Department of Administrative Services, State of Iowa, is soliciting quotes for the supply of metal culverts in various sizes and lengths. The State is seeking qualified vendors who can provide high-quality products that meet the States specifications and delivery requirements. The Agency reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, in whole and in part, received in response to this RFB at any time prior to the execution of a written Contract. Issuance of this RFB in no way constitutes a commitment by the Agency to award a Contract. This RFB is designed to provide Bidders with the information necessary to prepare a competitive Bid. This RFB process is for the Agency's benefit and is intended to provide the Agency with competitive information to assist in the selection of a Bidder to provide goods and/or services. It is not intended to be comprehensive and each Bidder is responsible for determining all factors necessary for submission of a comprehensive Bid. Bidders are invited to submit written questions and requests for clarifications regarding the RFB. The questions and requests for clarifications must be received by the Issuing Officer by date Wednesday, September 24th time 2:00pm (CT).
