A. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for completing the 2025 - FWTP Flood Improvements - Retaining Wall project. B. This project involves replacing an existing block retaining wall with a steel sheet pile wall. Work will begin with comprehensive site preparation and coordination with utility providers. Initial activities include removing existing infrastructure such as fencing, the block retaining wall, levee topsoil, and levee fill as necessary to allow for construction access and installation. New fencing must be installed prior to any other work occurring. C. Following site clearance, a steel sheet pile wall will be installed, complete with structural caps and concrete facades to enhance durability and appearance. Vibration monitoring will be conducted throughout sheet pile installation to ensure safety and to minimize impacts to surrounding infrastructure. D. Behind the new wall, a seepage collection system will be constructed using fine and coarse filter aggregates to support proper drainage and seepage control. Subsurface stabilization will include sealing the force main carrier pipe and performing injection grouting around it. E. Aluminum railing will be installed on top of the new wall for safety. Environmental protection measures such as erosion control, inlet protection, and a concrete washout area will be implemented throughout the project. F. The levee will then be backfilled with compacted fill material, and salvaged topsoil will be used to redress the surface. Final site restoration will include seeding and landscaping to return the area to a stable, functional, and visually acceptable condition. The base bid does not include curb, gutter, and paving. G. Bid Alternate 1 includes the lump sum work for completing the paving as site restoration for the project. H.
