Cascade Elementary School Mechanical Upgrades 16022 116th Ave SE Renton, WA 98058 Description of Work: The Work includes, but is not limited to:oAddition of new hydronic piping throughout the building to convert existing 2-pipe changeover system to a4-pipe system. o Replacement/addition of hydronic pumps, tanks, and appurtenances to support new 4-pipe-system. o Addition of an air-to-water heat pump. o Replacement of all fan coil units. o Replacement of all fans. o Replacement of all split system air-conditioning units. o Replacement of all electric duct and panel heaters. o Addition of electric unit heaters for freeze protection. o Controls upgrade. o Testing, adjusting and balancing of HVAC system. o Commissioning of new controls system. o Electrical work to support the mechanical upgrades. Architect/Engineer's Cost Opinion: $3,327,150.00 Bid Bond: This Project is estimated to cost $250,000.00 or more and must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check,or bid bond, equal to 5% of the total Base Bid only, excluding taxes. Make checks payable to the Renton School District; furnish bond executed by a licensed bonding agency authorized to do business in the locality of the project.
