The District is not responsible for any costs incurred in response to this Invitation to Bid. Work under this Contract includes: East Building & West Building - Demolition of interior walls, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and roofing. Installation of new walls and building systems. Regrading for ADA parking and installation of a new generator to serve both buildings. Building 1 & Building 3 - TPO overlay over existing metal roofing. Building 2 - Replacement of metal roofing and HVAC improvements. Building 4 - Demo of existing roofing and installation of new TPO roofing system. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents. Bids shall constitute offers to the District, which shall be binding for 90 days from the date of bid opening. The District reserves the right to reject any bid, any portion of any bid and/or to reject all bids. The District further reserves the right, but without obligation, to waive informalities and irregularities. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a bid guaranty (certified or cashier's check, surety bond, or postal money order) payable to Alderwood Water & Wastewater District in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid Price. The following identifies the types of subcontracting opportunities that may be available on this contract and are provided only for informational purposes. Work Categories: earthwork (trenching), electrical and lighting, HVAC, plumbing, paving, striping painting, flooring, tile, roofing and ACT ceilings.
