Closing Time: 2:00 PM (NT) ** Please note that there has been 6 addendum issued for this project. ** Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/09/24 02:00:00 PM NDT NL Health Services (NLHS) is administering this RFP to submit proposals for the Bronchoscopy Suite Redevelopment Project at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's. This will be in accordance with the statement of work, requirements, and all applicable Schedules set out in this RFP, as well as the Public Procurement Act. Note: The proponent with the lowest price may not necessarily be the successful proponent. Proposals must meet/comply with all mandatory requirements and pass to the evaluation stage of the review process. Once at this stage, evaluation occurs. Pricing is a criterion that is assessed/evaluated, along with two other criteria. The proponent with the best overall score is identified as the successful proponent. 1 Work under this contract includes but is not necessarily limited to the following: .1 Work of this Contract comprises general construction renovation of the Bronchoscopy and Pulmonary Function departments within the Health Sciences Centre, located at 300 Prince Phillip Drive, St. John's, NL. Summary of Work described as, but not limited to: .2 .1 Phased demolition and new construction of~380 GSM within the existing Health Sciences Centre to provide new architectural fit-up with new mechanical and electrical equipment and services. 2 Architectural summary of Work to include, but not limited to: 1 Work to include all new architectural improvements for a completed interior fit-up including but not limited to, new architectural walls and ceilings, doors, frames and hardware, pre-manufactured ICU wall and door systems, architectural millwork and hardware, new finishes, wall protection, and miscellaneous works and specialties. .3 Electrical summary of Work to include, but not limited to: .1 Work to include demolition of existing equipment, conduit and wire, and the relocation of some existing devices where so indicated. All other equipment, systems, conduit and wire shall be new. The general scope of new work includes the following items: lighting and controls, fire alarm, exit signs, panels, receptacles, data and telephone, clocks, nurse call, card access and door hardware. .4 Mechanical summary of Work to include, but not limited to: .1 Demolition Scope: .1 Remove existing sprinkler heads, HVAC ductwork, and medical gas outlets. 2 Remove plumbing fixtures and cap sanitary, vent, and domestic water lines as required. 3 Disconnect and remove existing reheat coils, diffusers, exhaust fans, and exposed ductwork. .2 Renovation Scope: .1 Install new supply, return, and exhaust ductwork as per drawings. 2 Provide and install new reheat coils, diffusers, and duct extensions.
