The Contractor shall procure and install a new centrifugal blower skid system with two (2) blowers to replace the existing three (3) single stage rotary sliding vane gas compressors at the Riverside Regional Water Quality Control Plant (RWQCP) Tequesquite Landfill at Riverside, California. In accordance with South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) regulations, the existing system must remain operational throughout the installation of the new replacement system. The new blower skid system shall be constructed on the same concrete foundation where Gas Compressor No. 3 is currently located. Compressor No. 3 shall be completely demolished first to accommodate the installation of the new blower system. Once the new blower system is installed and operational, the Contractor shall proceed with the demolition of the remaining two existing compressors (Compressors No. 1 and No. 2).
