Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, services necessary for the removal of existing asphalt shingle roof systems down to the existing wood plank roof deck and the installation of a new fiberglass reinforced asphalt shingles of approximately 6,725 sq. ft. on a sloped wood plank roof deck. South Windsor Public Schools (SWPS) reserves the rights to: amend or terminate this Request for Proposal; accept all or any part of a proposal; reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part; waive any technical defects, informalities or non-material deficiencies in a proposal; and award the proposal, in whole or in part, including accepting a proposal or part of a proposal, that, in its judgment, will be in South Windsor Public School's best interests. a. Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, services and incidentals necessary for the removal of existing asphalt shingle roof systems down to the existing wood plank roof deck and the installation of a new fiberglass reinforced asphalt shingles of approximately 6,725 sq. ft. on a sloped wood plank roof deck. The new roof system shall have a 50 year warranty equal to the GAF Timberline Golden Pledge roof system. b. Other significant work includes replacement of deteriorated wood plank roof deck. c. General and Subcontract Bids shall consist of but are not limited to: general construction, carpentry, sheet metal work, site restoration and all other work necessary for or incidental to the full completion of the entire project, including all equipment, labor, material, and incidentals in connection therewith.
