A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** In general, the work to be performed under this contract includes construction of 20,320 square feet of concrete sidewalks, and concrete ramps, installation of new drainage structures and pipe, a precast modular retaining wall, removal and replacement of pavement markings, reconstruction of driveway aprons, as well as topsoil and turf establishment and other associated work. State law requires a minimum of twenty-five (25%) percent of the state funded portion of this contract be set aside for award to subcontractors holding current certification from the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services ("DAS") under the provisions of Conn. Gen. Stat. 4a-60g. (25% of the total State funded value with DAS certified Small Business Enterprises (SBE), and 6.25% of the total State funded value with DAS certified Minority, Women, and/or Disabled-owned Businesses (MBE, WBE, DisBE). The contractor must demonstrate good faith effort to meet the 25% set-aside goals The Town of South Windsor, Connecticut reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted in response to this Invitation to Bid.
