Question Deadline 09/19/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents or the Contract Documents shall be submitted to OWNER in writing. questions must be received by OWNER at least five days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids. This item covers the installation of accessibility improvements at Old Town Hall. The scope includes installing a new interior alterations to accommodate a new hoistway lift, installing a new exterior door, steps and sidewalk, and reconfiguring the first-floor vestibule to meet ADA clearance requirements. It also encompasses all related electrical, structural, and miscellaneous site work, as well as any additional work described in the improvement plans or directed by the Engineer/Architect. for the Old Town Hall Rehabilitation project, in accordance with Ordinance 2025-026 and in accordance with plans and specifications on file in the Engineering Dept. Sealed bids will be received by the City Engineer of the City of North Olmsted. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked with the ordinance number, opening date and item being bid. In the event that several invitations are being bid simultaneously, each bid must be submitted in a separate envelope. Each bid for each project must be accompanied by a certified check on a solvent bank in the amount of 10% of the bid or a 100% Bid Bond, the same being payable to the City of North Olmsted as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and a Performance Bond satisfactory to said municipality in an amount equal to 100% of the total bid will be furnished. The deposit of the successful bidder will be retained until the Contract is properly executed and delivered. Deposits of all unsuccessful bidders will be returned following the award.
