Description

Renovation of a stadium in Prince George, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a stadium.

Upgrades to the refrigeration and heating system, as well as the addition to new heat recovery infrastructure. These upgrades aim to improve energy conservation and reduce operating costs at the Prince George CN Centre. TIMELINE: Request for proposal from qualified consultants demonstrating their interest, relevant expertise and capability for the design and production of construction drawings and specifications, has been issued by the owner. The Contract will be completed in the following phases: Phase 1 - Schematic Concept Design and Class C Cost Estimate - February 28, 2026 Phase 2 - Detailed Design and Class A Cost Estimate - June 15, 2026 Phase 3 - Tender Process & Construction - TBD Phases 2 & 3 are pending Consultant performance and project budget approval. Further update in late 2025, upon approval.
