This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Prince George, British Columbia. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

The proposed contract requires the planting of approximately 86,470 BCTS spring seedlings in the Robson Valley portion of BC Timber Sales Prince George Business Area. Note that only 73,000 trees were ordered, and the shortfall of 13,470 trees is planned to be made up from nursery overruns. There is no guarantee that all of the overrun trees will be available. Planting must be completed by June 21, 2026. Refer to the Schedule B1 for specific prescribed seedling information. Access comments on the Schedule B1 are for guidance only. If there are seedling allocation or area discrepancies between planting maps and the Schedule B1, then the Schedule B1 is the primary source of information for bidding. There have been a few changes to the contract documents in the last few years; please review Schedules before submitting a bid package. Some of the key highlights include: o It is the contractor's responsibility to complete permitting for any silviculture camps on crown land, such as acquiring a special use permit (SUP) to occupy a gravel pit. If the successful contractor will be setting up a camp that requires a SUP, then the contractor should begin that process as soon as possible since it may take several months to obtain a permit. o The successful contractor is responsible for shipping costs for seedlings from the IFS Nursery cold storage in Prince George. Shipping costs should be incorporated into the bid. o Survey data to support regen declarations is to be collected and summarized by Standard Unit not Planting Unit. o The CAEA 10000 road is barricaded at its intersection with the East Canoe FSR. The following blocks are accessed via the CAEA 10000 road: TA1739-1, TA1739-2 and TA1739-3. See photo located in the Information to Bidders. Question Deadline 10/28/2025 at 4:30 PM PT All contract related questions must be submitted in writing ONLY to the following email address: Forests.PrinceGeorgeTimberSalesOffice@gov.bc.ca. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to electronically by October 29, 2025. Estimated Contract Duration (in months): 5
