Columbus Air Force Base requires the contractor to engineer, furnish, install, and test an upgrade of the wiring infrastructure to Category 6 (Cat-6) standards for Building 1030, in accordance with the applicable Statement of Work. The premise wiring includes the network of interior and exterior wiring, cables, connectors, and accessories within the building, used to connect power, lighting, telecommunications, and data equipment throughout the premises.
