Provide comprehensive Architect-Engineering services to develop construction-ready documents and technical specifications; provide permitting support and bidding assistance; and ongoing construction administration through final acceptance for the replacement of the Capitol Complex Life Safety emergency generators and associated systems. In addition to the full design phases (Existing Conditions, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Bidding and Procurement of Sub-Contractors), the Architect-Engineer will provide inclusive Construction Administration services during procurement and construction through final closeout and warranty-period follow up, acting at the Owner's representative. Construction work and subcontractor procurement will remain the Contractor Manager at Risk's responsibility. Firms must have, and must demonstrate in their response, knowledge and experience designing new generators and/or emergency systems and/or designing the repair or replacement of existing emergency systems. Firms must also have, and must demonstrate in their response, a background in BAS systems and power logic monitoring systems (Triduim, Schneider PME). This project will be completed under extremely tight timeframes and strict deadlines.
