Renovation of a municipal facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of October 16, 2025. No bid receives. No definite date for the rebid. Architectural MILLWORK, accordance with project documents and specifications. Project will furnish dumpsters for the duration of the project for use by all Contractors except for selective demolition, site demolition, and roofing. These trades shall include installation, removal, and disposal of the dumpsters relative to their scope of work. The following information is provided to define and describe the scope of work that will be required of the successful bidder. This work shall include all labor, material, equipment, and supervision necessary to provide a complete, functioning system for the specifications on the documents. BASE BID- Provide all management, coordination, and materials to furnish and install a complete code compliant and functioning system for the specification section(s) listed above and related work, as shown or reasonably inferred. In addition, the scope of work shall include, but is not limited to: Includes furnishing and fabricating all casework and solid surface (SSF) materials including interior countertops, exterior countertops, and sills. All questions must be submitted in writing Kimberly K Wilson kimberly.wilson@minneapolismn.gov MPLMN-0000003942 MPRB-NCP-BP#3-CATEGORY#11 Project Specific Inclusions / Exclusions 1 Includes furnishing and fabricating all casework and solid surface (SSF) materials including interior countertops, exterior countertops, and sills. Installation shall be included for solid surface (SSF) materials. 2 Scope includes furnishing interior wood products as indicated on the project documents including WD-04, WD-09, & WD-10 at all wall, ceiling, bleachers, or as indicated elsewise locations. WD-05, WD-06, WD-07, WD-08. and WS-01 to be furnished by other work category. 3 Scope includes wood hand rails and top rails as indicated in the project documents. 4 Scope includes all aluminum or metal channel or inserts within wood assemblies and/or at transitions from wood to other materials as indicated in the project documents. 5 Coordinate all deliveries with the construction manager and Work Category 06A. Material shall be delivered FOB jobsite and a packing list shall be provided to the construction manager and Work Category 06A. Work Category 06B shall unload and deliver material where indicated by Work Category 06A. 6 Scope includes MTL-01 finish at reception desk. 7 Scope includes all pegboard shelving as shown on the project documents. 8 Scope includes field measurements and verifications on site for all materials prior to fabrication of materials. 9 Coordinate development of shop drawings with the electrical, mechanical and finish trade contractors during the rough-in stages of construction to ensure accuracy of final cutouts. 10 Scope includes all fasteners, hardware, and misc materials required for the work of this Work Category including countertop support brackets painted or finished per plans. 11 This Work Category is responsible for all countertop support brackets, prefinished as required. This Work Category shall also provide additional supports at no additional cost if the quantity indicated or shown on the documents is deemed insufficient to adequately support counters noted. 12 Includes integral backsplashes at all countertops with sinks unless identified otherwise. 13 All wood material shall be delivered pre-finished to the job site. 14 Material should be shop fabricated to the greatest extent possible to limit on site install time. However, cabinet ladder bases should be fully fabricated and shipped to the site separate from the base cabinets for ease of installation. Please coordinate unusual conditions with Work Category 10. 15 This Work category shall furnish all plastic laminate running trim as required at casework. 16 Contractor to furnish deliver and all grommets as noted within the Contract documents. 17 Inclusion of all cabinetry hardware and accessories, including glass lites. 18 All casework should be delivered to the site and stored for a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours prior to installation for acclimation purposes. 19 All casework shop drawings shall identify where wall backing will be required for all upper cabinets, lower cabinets, countertops, and any other items included in this scope that requires wall backing. Backing by others. 20 Coordinate with RJM and Millwork Installation Contractor on delivery quantities and dates. Contractor CANNOT figure one delivery for entire order. Deliveries will be staged by areas ready to receive materials. 21 Field measure all openings prior to fabrication. 22 Furnish and install all plywood sub tops as required to complete the countertop installations. 23 Contractor to drill and install all grommets as noted within the Contract documents. Coordinate locations with RJM prior to drilling tops. 24 Includes within scope an allowance of $8,000.00 to be used at the discretion of the Construction Manager. This will include either labor or materials. No profit or overhead will be allowed to be added to the cost of the work approved. Provide the Construction Manager a summary of costs of approved work to date, and credit full amount of allowance not used. Section 3 - General Scope of Work Items 1 Scope includes multiple mobilizations as required for project phasing plan, sequencing, and schedule. 2 Coordination with other Work Categories as required for rough-in and installation of building and utility systems. 3 Layout and surveying to be included as necessary to perform the work of this scope of work 4 Scope includes scheduling, coordinating, offloading, storing, protecting and securing all material deliveries related to this scope of work 5 Scope includes all necessary accessories, fasteners, hardware and misc materials required to complete this Work Category. 6 Scope includes all necessary lifts, cranes, hoisting, equipment, scaffold, and tools as required to complete this Work Category. 7 Scope includes daily cleanup and removal of trash, debris and unused material to construction managers dumpsters to create a clean and safe work site. 8 Coordinate with other trades as required to complete the scope of this Work Category. 9 No labor rate or material cost escalations will be permitted for the duration of the project(post bid submission and prior to completion of the project) unless noted by prevailing wage.
