Reference Number 0000398811 OVERVIEW: The City of Port Richey is a coastal community along the Gulf Coast in southwest Florida. The City has grant funds budgeted to purchase generators for up to four (4) lift stations within the City of Port Richey. Question Deadline 09/29/2025 at 12:00 AM ET SCOPE OF WORK: The successful contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required for the complete installation of emergency backup power systems at identified lift stations. Work includes: 1. Generators Diesel-powered standby generators sized appropriately for each lift station load (minimum rating: [The kW based on engineering analysis provided by the vendor]). Weatherproof and sound-attenuated enclosures suitable for outdoor installation. Base fuel tanks with a minimum 48-hour run time at full load. 2. Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Sized to handle the full electrical load of each lift station. UL-listed, 4-pole configuration, with NEMA-rated enclosures. Fully compatible with existing control panels and systems. 3. Concrete Pad & Site Work Reinforced concrete pads sized per manufacturer requirements and site conditions. Mounting and anchoring in compliance with local and state codes, including wind load requirements. Minor grading and restoration as required. 4. Electrical Work All wiring, conduit, grounding, and connections between the generator, ATS, and lift station controls. Testing and commissioning of systems, including load bank testing. As-built documentation of wiring diagrams and site layout. 5. Training & Warranty Provide operational training for City staff. Minimum 2-year warranty on equipment and installation. Provide maintenance and service plan options. A NON-MANDATORY PRE-SUBMITTAL MEETING has been scheduled time. The meeting will be conducted at 6333 Ridge Rd. Port Richey, FL 34668 - City Hall Council Chambers. Unless the City makes the pre-submittal meeting required, potential bidders are encouraged to attend the meeting (if scheduled). The purpose of the pre-submittal meeting is to discuss the requirements and objectives of this ITB and to answer any questions for potential bidders. Attendees must have the ability to communicate with the City at this meeting and must provide a company and representative name for the attendance register, and be able to ask questions or request clarifications. At the pre-submittal meeting, the City will attempt to answer all questions received; however, no additions, deletions, or modifications to the requirements stated herein will be made unless and until a written addendum to the ITB is issued by the Purchasing Office.
