The Township of Lower Merion at 75 East Lancaster Avenue of Ardmore of Pennsylvania invites qualified and experienced Contractors to provide their services to implement the "Belmont Hills Fire Company Selective Gasket Replacement" project as described in this RFP. Company Name b. Name of Person(s) performing site visit along with their contact information c. Requested Site Visit Date(s) with Arrival Time(s) i. Requested date and time are not guaranteed and based upon availability of Fire Company to provide access d. Township will notify Fire Company of the bidder's requested site visit. Township will not be present. Bidder shall provide the necessary measures for their review of the site conditions and restore it before leaving (e.g. ladders). Summary of Work 6. The Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. Contractor shall furnish all materials, implements, machinery, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, construction layout, labor and supervision required to complete the proposed items as shown on the attached documents and specified herein for the lump sum price stated by the Contractor on the attached proposal. The Work consists of, but is not limited to: a. Protection of existing finishes, furnishings, etc to remain b. Selective demolition and disposal of: ii. Existing window gasketing c. Provide new window gasketing as indicated d. Progress and final cleaning the Contract type is for construction. The Contract Term will commence after complete execution of the contract by all parties concerned. The construction work is to begin upon the date of "Notice to Proceed" and be complete within 30 consecutive calendar days. A time extension may be granted if inclement weather is encountered during the contract term that will impact the construction. a. Notice to Proceed for construction anticipated to be issued October / November 2025 pending contract execution. b. Coordinate with Fire Company to avoid conflict with any special events. 8. Work to be performed from 8 AM to 6 PM on Mondays through Fridays. Contractor shall have limited use of the premises for construction operations. Contractor shall comply with the Noise Ordinance, which is effect from 6 pm to 8 am. Building will be occupied at all the times.
