Reference Number 0000302795 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/10/06 02:00:00 PM EDT This Request for Supplier Qualification (RFSQ) is an invitation by McMaster University to prospective general contractors seeking to be pre-qualified to manage and deliver the ET Clarke Rooftop Acoustic Louvre and Soundwall project. The scope of work includes overseeing the full execution of the project, including the coordination and installation of acoustic louvres and soundwalls. This Request for Supplier Qualification (RFSQ) is an invitation by McMaster University to prospective general contractors seeking to be pre-qualified to manage and deliver the ET Clarke Rooftop Acoustic Louvre and Soundwall project. The purpose of this RFSQ is to identify experienced and capable general contractors who can oversee the full execution of the project, including the procurement and installation of acoustic mitigation measures. To comply with the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks' regulatory sound level limits, noise emanating from McMaster University's central plant (ET Clarke) must be reduced. The project involves the installation of acoustic louvres and barriers as well as exhaust fan replacement and sections of roof replacement. McMaster University has pre-qualified three Louvre / Soundwall suppliers through a separate process who will be a subcontractor to the proponent in a Stage 2 tender. This project will be delivered under a CCDC 2-2020 contract with McMaster University, incorporating University-specific amendments, to be executed at the second stage of the procurement process.
