A second site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time. Contractors shall meet in the Lobby of LLCC. Background check forms need to be filled out for anyone attending this site visit. Forms are to be submitted to Robert Payton robertd.payton@ky.gov on or before Monday, October 6, 2025. (background check form is attached to this addendum). 1.Buildings: 4 (Areas: A-F), 5A, & 5B a. Remove: i. Existing membrane roofing system, including insulation, down to existing, sloped concrete decks. ii. All metal flashings & copings b. Install: i. New 2-layers of 2.2" insulation and 1/2" cover board to produce an R-25 roofing system. ii. New crickets at drainage with 1/2" per foot slope. iii .New 2-ply SBS roofing membrane with foil faced flashings. iv. New 24 gage prefinished metal copings, metal counter flashings and edge metals. v. New roof drain inserts. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee (in the form of a bid bond or certified check) of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the lump sum base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and a separate 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instructions to Bidders and/or General Conditions. Estimated Length of Project: 120 (Substantial Completion) + 30 (Final Completion) The Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, Commonwealth of Kentucky, reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Commonwealth may be served. NO QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED AT THE SITE VISIT. ALL TECHNICAL QUESTIONS SHALL BE EMAILED TO THE ARCHITECT/ENGINEER OF RECORD FOR THIS PROJECT. ALL PROCUREMENT QUESTIONS SHALL BE DIRECTED TO BUYER OF RECORD FOR THIS PROJECT.
