Three different elementary school roofs are having frequent leaking issues on corridor roofs. Each school has 3 corridor roofs measuring at 28' x 27'. Abbeville County School District is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide roofing repairs and TPO install at Cherokee Trail Elementary, Diamond Hill Elementary, and Long Cane Primary. The purpose of this RFP is to identify a vendor who can meet the District's needs in a cost -effective and efficient manner. The existing roof on all of the breezeway connectors at all three schools have long history of leaking. There are nine total corridor roofing areas with three a t each elementary school. The selected vendor will be expected to: 1. Set up materials, safety, and equipment. 2. Remove sections of gutter over breezeway and cap th em off. 3. Add PVC pipe extensions where needed. 4. Mechanically fasten 3" EPS and 1" insulation board. 5. Adhere TPO membrane using TPO adhesive. 6. Add new gutte rs to each breezeway/corridor roofing area . 7. Utilize slip metal to tie in membrane on the sides of the breezeway, where it meets adjacent buildings. 8. Install drip edge and use cover strip to tie in and create waterproofing over building edge. 9. Install pipe boot over any existing vents. 10. Seal all areas near the breezeway that have incorrect panel install, holes, water entry points. 11. Clean up all job related materials and debris and discard all debris off site. HVAC or Mechanical Contractor to lift HVAC ducts off roof while roofing work is being completed. Must coordinate with contractor during repairs.
