Renovation of a military facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Working plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

The work includes the removal and replacement of all windows and roofing at U.S. Coast Guard Station Little Creek. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and disposal necessary to complete the project. The scope includes removing existing windows and replacing them with new energy-efficient units, removing the existing roof system down to the deck, and installing a new roofing system that meets current building codes and Coast Guard standards. All work must be performed in accordance with applicable regulations and coordinated to minimize disruption to station operations. Window Replacement- The contractor shall: Remove and properly dispose of thirty-three (33) existing windows. Install new white vinyl, double-pane windows with argon gas and foam wrap. Ensure all windows are caulked, sealed, and weatherproofed as necessary. Replace all rotted sills and rotted trim encountered during installation. Clean the work area thoroughly upon completion. 3.2 Roof Shingle Removal & Installation- The contractor shall: Remove all existing roof shingles and properly dispose of debris. Inspect roof decking; replace any rotted or deteriorated plywood as necessary. Install synthetic felt underlayment over the entire roof surface. Install new shingles of the same color as those removed. Install new lifetime pipe collars. Install new low-profile vents as required. Replace flashing as needed to ensure watertight integrity. Replace all drip edge with new materials. Caulk and seal all necessary areas to ensure a watertight seal. Clean up and dispose of all roofing debris and materials upon projectcompletion The designated contracting officer's QAE representative and Point of Contact for this project is MKC Nikita J. Bizzell. Inquiries concerning any phase of the specification before or after award shall be made to MKC Bizzell. Place of Performance: U. S. Coast Guard Station Little Creek, 1000 Abbott Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23455. Period of Performance: Contractor shall work diligently to complete the entire work, ready for use, within thirty (30) days after award. Deadline for questions is Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 3:00 pm EST. Any and all questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted in writing to Unison Marketplace.
