The Town is seeking proposals for engineering services associated with completing improvements/alternatives to the existing wastewater treatment system in the Town of Lawrence. The project is inclusive of all three sewer outfalls owned and operated by the Town of Lawrence, which share NYSDEC Permit #NY0110116. The Town's wastewater treatment system has received a Notice of Violation and Draft Consent Order from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) and is seeking proposals for the planning and design of improvements to regain compliance and improve aging and/or failing infrastructure. The selected firm will also be required to examine the potential requirements for State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), NYS Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), and other approvals to ensure all applicable regulatory requirements are described in the report. M/WBE Requirements. There are no M/WBE requirements associated with this RFP. Future phases of this project such as design, bid, and construction have the potential for M/WBE requirements if NYS funding is utilized. Question Deadline 10/10/2025 The Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire can be obtained by requesting such from the Primary Point of Contact for this RFP. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
