The City of Manteca (CITY) is soliciting proposals for consulting services for the Development, Procurement, and Installation of an Archway Structure at Main Street and Wetmore Street ("PROJECT"). The Engineer's estimate of the total project is expected to be between $500,000 to $1,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The selection will be based on qualifications only. The city will then negotiate with the highest ranked firm for scope and fee. The Consultant shall hold a valid California Professional Engineer's License, or California License Architect, or Class A General Contractors License, or Class C-45 Sign Contractor, or C-51 Structural Steel Contractor, or C-61 Limited Specialty Contractor. Additionally, the Consultant must have successfully completed design/delivery of a project of similar size and scope within the last ten (10) years in the State of California. In accordance with California Labor Code as amended through Senate Bill (SB) 96, no contractor or subcontractor shall be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project or awarded a contract for public work on a public works project unless registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). The PROJECT includes the design and construction of an archway and sign that spans approximately 80 feet across Main St. in downtown Manteca. It will be located approximately 110 feet North of Wetmore St. At a minimum the sign shall contain the City's name. The letters of the sign shall contain color changing LEDs lights. 1. City Council approval on October 21, 2025. 2. The City will execute an agreement with the consultant and issue a Notice To Proceed (NTP) on or before October 31, 2025. 3. Draft architectural concept for City and Community feedback completed before November 30, 2025. 4. Structural Design completed before December 31, 2025. 5.
