The City of Manteca (CITY) is soliciting proposals for the development of plans, specifications and estimate for the CMAQ EV Charging Station Project ("PROJECT"). The selection will be based on qualifications only. The city will then negotiate with the highest ranked firm for scope and fee. The Consultant shall hold a valid California Professional Engineer's License, or Class A General Contractors License or C-10 Electrical Contractor. Additionally, the Consultant must have successfully completed design/delivery of an EV Charging Station project of similar size and scope within the last five (5) years in the State of California. In accordance with California Labor Code as amended through Senate Bill (SB) 96, no contractor or subcontractor shall be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project or awarded a contract for public work on a public works project unless registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). The PROJECT includes the development of plans, specifications and estimates for an EV Charging station at the Manteca City Hall The station will support fast charging for 6 vehicles and will be open to the public. Project includes upgrades to the City's electrical infrastructure in order to support the EV charging station.
