Reference Number 0000398720 In 2022, PWSD completed the Cherry Creek Interceptor (CCI) pipeline project, which diverts a portion of flows from the District's South Water Reclamation Facility (SWRF) and allows flows from three (3) lift stations to be conveyed by gravity to the North Water Reclamation Facility (NWRF). This pipeline eliminated the need for the lift stations, which have since been taken offline and cleaned, and some equipment salvaged by District staff. The Contractor shall be responsible for assisting with salvage of additional equipment, installing plugs in discharge pipelines, demolition and hauling of remaining infrastructure, and restoration and revegetation of property to match surrounding conditions. The Contractor will also be responsible for demolition of several manholes that were bypassed when CCI was put into service.
