Riverchase Pump Station No. 1 Rehabilitation Project. Intent of this Bid request is to obtain an offer perform Work to complete the rehabilitation and upgrade to as existing sanitary sewer pumping station, including submersible pumps, wet wells lining, replacement of piping, replacement of valves, and all necessary appurtenances in Hoover, Alabama 35216. The principal items of work are approximately as follows: Wet well lining, replacement of piping, replacement of valves, and all necessary appurtenances in Hoover, Alabama 35216. Location-Hoover Public Safety Center, 2020 Valleydale Road, Hoover, AL, 35244 WORK BY OWNER OR OTHERS A. Owner will not be installing any items or performing work. B. No additional contracts for work by others will be let during this project. C. Work under this Contract will include: 1. The rehabilitation and upgrade to an existing sanitary sewer pumping station, including installation of three (3) submersible pumps, wet wells lining, replacement of piping, replacement of valves, and all necessary appurtenances. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the City of Hoover in an amount of not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the contract.
